Auroch stock dwindling in King's Landing (King's Landing Tribune)
With economic woes ravaging King's Landing, auroch stock is being depleted and there aren't
any imports coming in due to high costs in order to bolster the stock.
"We're just running out of them," said auroch breeder Gryth Maweth. "Can't breed them fast
enough and there's so much famine, we're using every part of the carcass we can. Just isn't enough."
Auroch bacon and salted auroch jerkey has been a popular item but prices have skyrocketed,
making them very hard to market.
"You'd think that'd be good news, that we could raise more. Truth is, people are starving
and we gotta feed them."
A new herd is expected in the coming weeks but ranchers aren't optimistic about them helping
the immediate concern.
"That'll help in the future, if we have one here. I hope we do."
